No one was injured after a two-vehicle collision Thursday at the intersection of South Highway 30 and Hollow Road in Blair.
Blair police and Blair Fire and Rescue responded to the scene shortly before 4:30 p.m..
A 2007 Jeep Commander, driven by George Metzler, 63, of Tekamah, was traveling eastbound on Hollow Road. Metzler attempted to turn left when his vehicle was struck by a 2013 Subaru Outback, driven by Kylie Snyder, 21, of Tekamah, who was headed southbound on Highway 30, according to Blair Police Sgt. Josh Pfaff. There was one passenger in Snyder's vehicle.
"It sounds like everybody's okay at this point," Pfaff said.
Airbags deployed in the Subaru and seat belts were in use. Both vehicles were totaled in the crash. Metzler was issued a citation for failure to yield to the right of way. Neither alcohol nor drugs were a factor in the crash.
Southbound traffic on Highway 30 was redirected toward the center turning lane by BPD officers while the crash was cleaned up.
