Bardstown, KY : Juvenile driver injured in a crash at Poplar Flat and Ed Pile Roads on Thursday evening, March 9, 2017

A teenager suffered serious injuries in a crash Thursday evening at Poplar Flat and Ed Pile Roads.

According to a press release from the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to the area just before 5:30 p.m. for a single vehicle accident with one person ejected.

The car was off the roadway when deputies arrived and witnesses on the scene were treating a juvenile driver.

Nelson County EMS transported the juvenile, who has not been identified, to Flaget Memorial Hospital where he was later flown to University of Louisville Hospital.
