UNION TOWNSHIP, OH : 12-year-old girl suffers life-threatening injuries in fiery Hancock County crash on Saturday, 24th February 2024

A 12-year-old girl is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after the vehicle she was in crashed into the back of a tow truck that was at the scene of a separate wreck Saturday morning, state troopers reported.

The crash happened around 6 a.m. Saturday on the northbound side of Interstate 75 in Union Township while troopers said they were on the scene of a non-injury crash on the highway. Authorities said a 69-year-old from Dayton crashed into the back of a tow truck that was at the scene and had its flashing lights turned on.
