MANCHESTER, CT : Danbury man dies in I-84 accident in Manchester on Saturday, 24th September 2016

A Danbury man was killed Saturday morning when his car veered off the shoulder of Interstate 84 eastbound and rolled over several times, state police said.
The man, Julio Ortega, 28, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, Trooper John Adams said in his report. Ortega was the only person in the car, he said.
He said that Ortega’s car, for undetermined reasons, veered left on I-84 eastbound in the right lane prior to Exit 61 around 9:44 a.m.
The car went into the grassy area of the left shoulder and struck a raised embankment and rocks, causing the vehicle to roll multiple times, which caused heavy damage to the front of the car, he said.
Adams said the investigation is ongoing and anyone with information about the accident is asked to contact him at the state police Troop H barracks in Hartford at 860-534-1000.
