Austin, TX : Fatal morning crash under investigation on Farm-to-Market Road 1630 two miles west of FM 373 on Monday, 24th September 2018

An investigation into a fatal Monday morning crash is underway, according to Texas Highway Patrol Staff Sgt. Mark Tackett.

Tackett said 62-year-old Larry Dill of Forestburg was driving a Ford F-150 pickup westbound on Farm-to-Market Road 1630 two miles west of FM 373 when the vehicle was struck head on by another Ford truck at 9:55 a.m. Sept. 24.

Dill was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt, Tackett, a spokesman for the Texas Department of Public Safety, said.
