Boulder, CO : One person serious injured in Multi-car crash U.S. 36 on Monday August 10th 2015

Boulder-bound travelers on U.S. 36 are in for a rough commute this afternoon as police and emergency personnel respond to a multi-car accident.
The crash occurred around 3 p.m. near Cherryvale Road, according to Colorado State Patrol Trooper Nate Reid.
He said five or six cars were involved and one person was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
Reid did not have information about lane or road closures, but traffic appeared to be severely backed up on the highway's westbound lanes.
