Wentzville, MO : St. Charles woman killed in I-70 crash in Wentzville on Sunday night, Oct 25, 2015

A 21-year-old woman died Sunday night when she lost control of her car on Interstate 70, striking a guardrail and overturning, the Missouri Highway Patrol said.

Amber N. Redd, of St. Charles, was taken to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur, where she was pronounced dead. A passenger, Madison R. Redd, 16, of St. Charles, was injured and taken to the same hospital.

The patrol said the westbound vehicle was traveling too fast for conditions. The incident happened at I-70 and Highway 61 about 6:30 p.m.
