Six people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Sunday evening near the Westmoreland Fairgrounds in Mt. Pleasant Township.
The crash happened about 7 p.m. on Mt. Pleasant Road when a vehicle ran a stop sign and collided with another, state police said.
Three helicopters landed at the fairgrounds to take two of the injured to UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh and a third person to Forbes Regional Hospital in Monroeville. The remaining patients were taken by ambulance to Excela Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg.
