HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA : Police ID woman killed in traffic accident on Thursday 22nd September 2016

The Orange County coroner's office have indentified the woman that died in a single traffic accident on Thursday 22nd as Sharlene Lyle, 44. Lyle was driving north on Main Street after being involved in a minor traffic accident at Main Street and Orange Avenue at approximately 1:30 a.m.
Police investigation showed that Lyle's 2000 Nissan Maxima sped away from the scene at a high rate of speed, she lost control of her vehicle and hit a tree north of Palm Avenue.
When police and medics arrived at the scene that found Lyle deceased and still in the driver's seat. No one else was involved in the accident.
