Chicago, IL : One person was killed in a semi vehicle crash at Interstate 294 On Tuesday May 10th, 2016

One person was killed after a semi crashed on Interstate 294 in the western suburbs early Tuesday, police said.

The truck was driving south near Ogden Avenue in Western Springs about 2:30 a.m. when it hit a median wall, Illinois State Police said. The truck’s trailers rolled into oncoming lanes.

Details were not available about the person who died.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
