Milwaukee, WI : Seven people injured, two seriously, when van struck three parked cars on Milwaukee's north side on Wednesday night, Sep 9, 2015

Seven people were injured, two seriously, when a van struck three parked cars Wednesday night on Milwaukee's north side, police said.

The crash was reported shortly after 7 p.m. near N. 35th St. south of W. Capitol Drive, according to a news release from the Milwaukee Police Department.

Six of the injured were in the van. The driver and a passenger in the vehicle, who had to be extricated, suffered the most serious injuries.

An occupant in one of the parked vehicles was taken to a hospital as a precaution and all seven are expected to survive, according to police.

All of the six occupants of the van are males from the Delafield area, police said.

The van was southbound on 35th St. when the driver attempted to pass a car but lost control of his vehicle and struck the parked cars, police said.
