Felton, CA : Aptos woman dies in Felton car crash Thursday November 5 2015

A 24-year-old Aptos woman was found dead Thursday morning in a car crash on East Zayante Road near Felton, and authorities are trying to determine when the crash happened.
About 8:30 a.m. Thursday, a Santa Cruz County Public Works crew was doing sign maintenance when a worker spotted a 1995 Honda Civic at the bottom of a hill near East Zayante and West Zayante roads, said California Highway Patrol Sgt. Grant Boles.
When a CHP officer arrived to investigate, the woman was found dead in the car.
She had been there for an unknown amount of time,” Boles said.
An investigation determined the woman was driving west on East Zayante Road when she struck a concrete bridge and plummeted down a hill, said CHP officer Elizabeth Addy. The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
East Zayante Road was closed until Thursday afternoon as the Honda was towed. The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office Coroner’s Unit also investigated, Addy said.
