FLINT TOWNSHIP, MI : Major crash slows I-75 in both directions near I-69 and Miller Road on Thursday, 5th October 2023

Both directions of I-75 were at a standstill near the Miller Road and I-69 interchange after a major crash Thursday morning.

The crash happened on I-75 near I-69 around 6:55 a.m. At least one semi-truck and several other vehicles were involved.

The Michigan Department of Transportation says all lanes of southbound I-75 were closed at I-69 and only one lane of northbound traffic was open after Bristol Road.

Photos from the scene show heavy damage to the concrete median barrier wall that separates the northbound and southbound lanes. Piece of broken concrete were strewn across the northbound lanes.
