St. Cloud, MN : 1 person injured in St. Cloud collision on Tuesday morning, April 12, 2016

One person was injured in a Tuesday morning collision in St. Cloud that caused a vehicle to crash into a home, according to the St. Cloud Police Department.

A van driven by Carrieann Jonas, 38, was westbound on Veterans Drive where she entered the intersection on a green light at Ninth Avenue North, according to police. A vehicle driven by Lewis Olson, 77, of Clear Lake, was southbound on Ninth Avenue North.

The report said Olson's vehicle entered the intersection during a red light and collided with Jonas' vehicle.

After impact, Olson's vehicle continued into an electrical pole and then the corner of a home, the report said. The home received minor damage to the foundation.

Jonas was taken to St. Cloud Hospital by ambulance for injuries that are not considered life-threatening, the report said. Olson was cited for failure to stop for a red light.
