Melville, NY : A serious vehicle crash in Oyster Bay Cove on May, Monday, 22nd 2017

A serious vehicle crash in Oyster Bay Cove Monday morning left one man dead and closed down Route 25A, North Hempstead Turnpike, for much of the day, police said.
Nassau County police said the crash occurred at about 8:30 a.m. when a 39-year-old man driving a 2009 Toyota east on Route 25A hit a tree.
The driver, who was not identified, was pronounced dead at the scene, Nassau police.
