Los Angeles, CA : Pedestrian running across killed on 110 Freeway in Los Angeles at Century Blvd on April 27th 2014

A person was struck and killed while running across the southbound 110 Freeway in South Los Angeles, according to California Highway Patrol.

The incident occurred near Century Boulevard at 4:30 a.m.

The CHP immediately issued a SigAlert for all lanes of the southbound 110 Freeway at Century Boulevard. Traffic was backed up for miles.

Motorists were advised to exit Slauson Avenue.
