Bloomington, IL : 2 injured in B-N bus-car crash in Bloomington on Tuesday evening, March 21, 2017

Two passengers on a Connect Transit bus suffered minor injuries following a crash Tuesday evening in Bloomington.

The accident report has not yet been completed, but police said the bus and a Toyota Scion were involved in the crash at 5:44 p.m. at Center and Bissell streets.

Connect Transit Training and Safety Director Dave White said he also was awaiting the report, but believes the bus was southbound on Center when the car ran a red light and hit the bus.

It was not immediately known if any tickets were issued.
