LOUISVILLE, KY : LMPD Person hospitalized after semi-truck crashes into building in Old Louisville on Friday, 26th April 2024

One person was taken to the hospital after a semi-truck crashed into a building in Old Louisville.

Louisville Metro Police (LMPD) responded to a call for service on a report of a motor vehicle collision on South Floyd Street and Breckinridge Street around 12:30 p.m. Friday.

Police said a passenger vehicle was heading westbound on Breckinridge Lane when, for some unknown reason, it disregarded the traffic control device at the intersection, failed to stop and crashed into a semi-truck that was headed northbound on Floyd Street.
