Police in Tucson say an impaired motorcyclist hit a vehicle, killing his female passenger.
Authorities say the accident happened Friday around 6:10 p.m. on Santa Clara Avenue near Calle Aragon.
According to investigators, a pickup truck had slowed to make a turn when it was struck from behind by a motorcycle.
The impact caused the truck to roll over and threw Rene Abeyta and Ana Lisa Ordonez, both of Tucson, from the motorcycle.
Police say neither was wearing a helmet.
They say the 36-year-old Ordonez was pronounced dead at the scene.
Abeyta and the driver of the truck were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
