CAMPBELL COUNTY, VA : Altavista man killed in early morning crash on Wednesday, 6th March 2024

Virginia State Police are investigating a crash that killed a man early Wednesday.

Michael L. Hudgins, 64 of Altavista, died at the scene of the crash that was reported March 6 at 12:45 a.m. on Gladys Road in Campbell County.

Police say Hudgins was driving a Ford Ranger westbound on Gladys Road, went off the right side of the road, overcorrected, then again went off the right side of the road, and hit an embankment and a tree
