Weathersfield ,VT : 22-year-old New York man died after a one-car crash along Interstate 91 on Saturday ,July 25th 2015

Vermont state police say a 22-year-old New York man is dead after a one-car crash on Interstate 91 in Weathersfield.

Police say it's unclear why the car driven by car driven by 21-year-old McKayla Park of Oneonta, New York, left the highway and rolled, colliding with a tree.

Police say her passenger — Trent Costello of Kingston, New York — was pronounced dead at the scene of the late Saturday morning crash. Park was taken to Springfield Hospital with unspecified injuries.

I-91 southbound was closed for several hours while the accident was being investigated.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
