Barry County, MO : Shell Knob man hurt in accident near Golden on Friday, July 1, 2016

A Shell Knob man was injured in a one-vehicle accident about 12:20 a.m. Friday on Highway 86, four miles west of Golden in Barry County, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.

Pickup truck driver Kyle Boggs, 21, was taken to Mercy Hospital Springfield, the patrol reported.

The accident occurred, according to the patrol, when his eastbound vehicle left the road and struck several trees.
