Hanover, PA : Driver dies in crash in Gettysburg borough Tuesday night, February 21, 2017
One person died in a crash in Gettysburg borough Tuesday night, according to Adams County's Chief Deputy Coroner Francis Dutrow.
A vehicle crashed into a traffic pole in front of Christine's Cafe on Middle Street. The crash was reported at about 6:20 p.m., according to Adams County 911.
The driver did not survive the crash, Dutrow said. The name of the driver has not been released pending notification of the family.
No other vehicles were involved and no one else was injured.
The facade to the cafe was damaged. It was not open at the time.
Owner Keith Lowman said he has insurance, but the business will not be open on Wednesday.
