Birmingham man dies in motorcycle crash

A Birmingham man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Jug Factory Road early Sunday.Franklin Grant, 42, was driving a 2008 Suzuki GSX 1300 R. About 1:30 a.m., he left the roadway, struck a mailbox and hit a brick wall, said Sgt. Steve Jarrett, an Alabama state trooper spokesman.Troopers are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash, he said
