Lacey, WA : Elderly couple killed in 3-car crash on Lacey's Pacific Highway Wednesday afternoon on Oct 7, 2015

An elderly couple has died in a three-car crash on Lacey's Pacific Highway Wednesday afternoon.

The couple was driving east around 1 p.m. when they crossed the center line in the 9400 block and collided with a westbound car, according to Trooper Guy Gill.

The impact sent the westbound car into a power pole, knocking it and its power lines down. Meanwhile, the couple's car was struck by a third car, Gill said.

No one in the other two cars was injured, Gill said. The deceased couple's identities have not been released.

Pacific Highway is expected to be closed near the crash scene for an extended time, Gill said.
