Fontana,CA : Fontana motorcyclist who died after crash is identified on October, Saturday 14th 2017
A motorcyclist who died after being involved in a crash Saturday near Fontana has been identified.
Milad Amin Khalil, 41, of Fontana was taken to the hospital while suffering cardiac arrest and was pronounced dead at 12:21 p.m., the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office said in a news release.
Previously, a California Highway Patrol spokesman had said the person who died was 68.
The crash was reported about 11:45 a.m. Saturday at Arrow Route and Almond Avenue. CHP Sgt. Ronald Burch said a southbound Fontana woman — who said she didn’t see Khalil’s Harley-Davidson coming west — turned left and clipped the motorcycle with the front end of her Toyota Camry.
Khalil was thrown into an SUV that was stopped at the intersection, while the motorcycle slid into a car parked on the street, Burch said.
