Reno, NV : One person injured in a single vehicle crash on Mt. Rose Hwy in Washoe County on Wednesday, February 4, 2015
According to NHP officials, Mt. Rose Hwy. is expected to reopen at about 7 p.m. Wednesday.
There is still no word on the medical condition of the crash victim.
Nevada Highway Patrol, a single vehicle, single occupant crash on Mt. Rose Hwy. has left the roadway blocked in both directions.
NHP says it happened at 4:23 p.m. on state route 431 near mile marker nine in Washoe County.
The vehicle reportedly overturned and there was one injured occupant inside.
NHP says the extent of the occupant's injuries is unknown at the time, but the person was transported by Careflight to a local hospital.
NHP says both directions of Mt. Rose Hwy. are blocked and there is no estimate as to when the lanes will be back open again.
