Tampa,FL : Tampa pedestrian stumbling in middle of highway killed in crash on September, Saturday 30th 2017
A 34-year-old pedestrian died from a car crash Saturday night on Memorial Highway, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.
Steve Jaimes of Tampa was stumbling southbound in the middle of the road about 10:30 p.m., and he failed to respond to vehicles honking as they swerved around him, the agency reported.
Angel Rivera, 23 of Tampa, hit Jaimes head-on with his Toyota Camry at about 40 mph, according to the report, and Jaimes died at the scene. The HCSO expects no charges.
