Three Rivers, MI : Boy, 10, struck and killed while crossing US-131 in Three Rivers on Sunday, December 7, 2014

A 10-year-old boy has been struck and killed by a van while crossing a western Michigan road with his father and brother. The Kalamazoo Gazette and the boy was hit about 12:30 a.m. Sunday as he turned to pick up something he dropped on US-131 in St. Joseph County's Three Rivers. The van's driver had the green light as the boy ran back into the roadway. The boy later died at a local hospital. The accident is under investigation.
