A Centerville teenager was injured in a single-car crash on Shubael Pond Road Saturday afternoon. According to a Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills (C-O-MM) Fire Department release, the teen and two friends were riding in the car when it struck an object on the unpaved road.
Several units responded to the scene around 3:30 p.m. Two of the teens refused treatment and were released into the care of their parents. The third teen, who was a passenger in the car, reportedly sustained non life-threatening injuries.
C-O-MM rescuers transported the third teen to an awaiting MedFlight helicopter at Cape Cod Airfield on Race Lane in Marstons Mills. The MedFlight crew flew the teen to Rhode Island Hospital, according to C-O-MM.
