BETTENDORF, IA : Bettendorf man charged with OWI after crash kills passenger on Tuesday, 10th September 2024

A 19-year-old has been charged in connection with a crash that killed one person in August.

Alexander McNicol is charged with homicide by vehicle - operating under the influence, a Class B felony, homicide by vehicle - reckless driving, a Class C felony, and operating while intoxicated, a serious misdemeanor.

Online jail records show he posted $25,000 through a bail bond company and was released from the Scott County Jail.
