Glasgow, KY : Glasgow teenager injured in Finney Road crash on Saturday, December, 2nd 2017
A Glasgow teenager was injured in a single-vehicle crash that occurred around 2 p.m. Saturday on Finney Road.
Nicholas Sexton, 18, was traveling south in the 9000 block of Finney Road when he overcorrected in a curve, causing his vehicle to leave the roadway and travel down an embankment, striking a tree and a fence before stopping, said a Barren County Sheriff's Office press release.
Sexton was the only person in the vehicle. He was transported by the Barren-Metcalfe County Emergency Medical Service to T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow and later transferred to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, the press release said.
The Barren County Sheriff's Office was assisted at the crash scene by firefighters with the South Barren Volunteer Fire Department, the press release said.
