Autopsies concluded that both women died of blunt force injuries, according to the coroner's office.
The crash happened around 6:45 p.m. at the intersection of Baltimore Pike and Bermudian Church Road near East Berlin, according to York County 911.
Alan S. Fedorick, 56, of Hazleton, and his two passengers, Mary Fedorick and Fulk, were stopped in the southbound lane on Baltimore Pike Road attempting to turn left onto Bermudian Church Road in a 2014 Kia Forte, according to a Pennsylvania State Police news release.
Marissa D. Chance, 35, of McSherrystown was driving a 2008 Jeep Cherokee behind Alan Fedorick when she took her eyes off the road and hit the rear end of Fedorick's vehicle, the release states.
Fedorick's vehicle rotated into the northbound lane and was struck by Harold G. Luckenbaugh, 77, of Spring Grove, who was driving north in a 1994 Ford F-150. Fedorick's vehicle was then pushed into a 1968 Mercury Cougar driven by Andrew M. Storm, 43, of East Berlin, who was waiting to turn onto Baltimore Pike Road, police said in the release.
