Knox County, TN : 18-year-old teen was texting crashed her car into a dump truck on Monday morning September 29th 2014

A teenager who officers say was texting crashed her car into a dump truck Monday morning. The Knox County Sheriff's Office says 18-year-old Madeline Arden's phone was found open to the text screen at the scene of the crash. It happened around 10:15 a.m. on Hickory Creek Road in West Knox County. Arden was taken to UT Medical Center with leg injuries. The driver of the dump truck was not hurt. KCSO is investigating the crash as a texting while driving accident. Charges against Arden are pending. Source : Texting teen crashes into dump truck
