A driver was seriously injured in a three-car crash Thursday in New Ashford, according to the Massachusetts State Police.
The driver, operating a 2009 Honda Ridgeline, was taken to Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield for treatment, police said. The road was closed for more than an hour Thursday afternoon as first responders worked to clear the scene.The crash occurred just after 3 p.m., and the road reopened at 4:21 p.m.
Trooper James D. DeAngelis said there was one person in each of the three involved vehicles, and the other two vehicles were a 2013 Chevy Equinox and a 2015 Hyundai Veloster, he said.
