Monroe, WA : One person killed in 3-vehicle crash on Highway 2 at Monroe on Tuesday, February 10, 2015

The Washington State Patrol says a vehicle crossed the centerline and collided head-on with another vehicle Tuesday morning on Highway 2 near Monroe.

The patrol says the driver who caused the crash was injured and taken to a hospital. The driver who was hit was killed.

A third vehicle also was involved in the collision about 10 a.m.

The Transportation Department says traffic in both directions was detoured around the crash scene.
