Coroner ID's Man Killed in I-15 Crash in Las Vegas Nevada

The Clark County Coroner's Office has identified the man killed in a crash along I-15 this weekend as John William Shonts III, 34 of Las Vegas.The cause of death is multiple blunt force injuries from a car crash and the manner of death is listed as accidental. According to Nevada Highway Patrol, at around 2:45 a.m. Sunday, two cars crashed along the southbound lanes of I-15 near Sahara Avenue. Shonts, who was riding a motorcycle, then hit one of those cars. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A woman who was riding with him was critically hurt in the crash.
