Elsmere, DE : Two women were injured in a head-on collision on Boxwood Road on Wednesday, 4th September 2019

Two women suffered serious, though not life-threatening, injuries Wednesday morning after their cars crashed head-on near Elsmere, police said.

Police and firefighters were dispatched to Boxwood Road near its intersection with Dodson Avenue shortly before 6:20 a.m., where they found a Saturn and an Acura both significantly damaged, a New Castle County Police news release said.
