Bedford, MA : Driver hospitalized after crash leaves car wedged beneath school bus in Bedford on Monday, 16th December, 2019

A driver was hospitalized after authorities said he crashed into the back of a school bus in Bedford Monday afternoon, wedging his car beneath the rear bumper.

First responders were called to 1 MacIntosh Road shortly before 4 p.m., where they found a Dodge sedan that had crashed into a school bus. Photos from the scene showed the car lodged partially beneath the bus.

Authorities said the school bus was transporting 13 Bedford elementary school students home for the day. Two were evaluated for injuries that are not believed to be serious, according to police.
