WAKEFIELD, NE : A 63-year-old man was killed on May, Saturday, 13th 2017

A 63-year-old man was killed after being run over by a farm implement about 3 miles north of here.

Dixon County Sheriff Don Taylor said in a press release Monday afternoon that dispatch received a call for service on Saturday at about 9 p.m. regarding a farm accident on 861 Road.

An investigation revealed that Gerele Johnson had been run over, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
