Indiana State Police confirm a woman died in a crash on state Route 32 near Farmland, just east of Muncie.

Faye Runner, 75, of Lynn, died after her east bound car was hit by a westbound car that went left of center, according to state troopers. The accident was reported about 5:25 p.m.

A front-seat passenger in Runner’s car, Emily Saylor, 41, of Richmond, was taken to Indianapolis by medical helicopter to treat serious injuries.

A second passenger in the backseat of Runner’s car, Jacob Saylor, 18, of Richmond, was taken by ambulance to Indiana University Health’s Ball Memorial Hospital suffering from non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the westbound car was also taken to Ball Memorial Hospital suffering non-life threatening injuries, ISP officials said.
