Milford CT : One person dead and another injured after two vehicles crash on Saturday January 9 2016.

Fire officials say one person is dead and another injured after a head-on collision between two vehicles over the weekend in Milford.
First responders were dispatched to the accident scene in the area of Buckingham Avenue and Old Field Lane around 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
Battalion Chief Anthony Fabrizi says both drivers were found inside their vehicles. One of them needed to be hydraulically extricated from the wreck.
Both victims were transported to Yale Trauma Center. One patient, a woman who has not yet been identified, died at the hospital. The condition of the other victim is unknown.
Milford police are investigating the cause of the crash.
