Fort Collins, CO : 2 injured in Bloomfield crash, Mountain Avenue shut down west of town green on Thursday, 12th September 2019

Two people were injured in a single-car crash Thursday evening outside a Bloomfield shopping center on Mountain Avenue.
Police were called to the scene at 7:15 p.m. at the entrance to the shopping center on Mountain Avenue, just west of Bloomfield Avenue and the town green, and found a car crashed against a crosswalk post and street sign with “extensive damage,” police said.
The driver of the car was "in and out of consciousness" and the passenger was unresponsive, so both were transported to St. Francis Hospital, police said.
Further details about the occupants' conditions were not available late Thursday.
Mountain Avenue was shut down late into Thursday night while the North Central Municipal Accident Reconstruction Squad investigated the cause of the crash.
