El Paso County, CO : Three people killed in fatal crash on Falcon Highway and Rio Road on Wednesday December 30 2015.

A crash early Thursday in El Paso County injured three people,the Colorado State Patrol said.
The crash, reported around 2 a.m., occurred on Falcon Highway and Rio Road, troopers said.
The driver of a Pontiac G8, identified as 25-year-old Michael Hegger, was traveling south on Rio Road when he did not stop at a stop sign at the intersection with Falcon Highway, the state patrol said. The vehicle went through the intersection and into a field on the south side of Falcon Highway, troopers said. The Pontiac went airborne, hitting a utility trailer and an unoccupied Honda Odyssey.
The two passengers in the car, identified as Christopher Awbrey, 29, and Lisa Lacey, 36,, plus the driver were taken to Memorial Hospital for injuries sustained in the crash, troopers said. Specifics about their injuries and conditions were not released.
All three are from Peyton, the state patrol said.
Awbrey and Lacey were not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, troopers said.
