Orlando, FL : Mother, daughter killed in Orlando crash on May 19th 2014

A mother and her daughter are dead following a crash in Orange County.

It happened just before 6 p.m. Monday at Texas Avenue and Rose Boulevard, west of Orange Blossom Trail.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers said 49-year-old Silvia Flores and her 23-year-old daughter, Jennifer, were in a car headed east on Rose Boulevard.

Witnesses Silvia's Toyota Camry Flores stop at a stop sign before entering the intersection.

That's when a Nissan driven by 19-year-old Fizal Rahaman struck the Camry's left side. Both women were killed.

Rahaman and his passenger sustained minor injuries.

Charges are pending in this crash, which remains under investigation
