An early morning crash between a motorcycle and a car July 13 resulted in the death of a 52-year-old man from Holiday.
A Florida Highway Patrol report said Robbin Thane Cornwell was wearing a helmet when he crashed his 2001 Yamaha motorcycle into the side of a 2013 Ford Fusion. Cornwell had been traveling eastbound on Roosevelt Boulevard in the inside lane approaching the intersection of 28th Street North just before the crash.
The Ford, driven by Justin David Gragg, 23, of Largo was turning left through the intersection from Roosevelt Boulevard onto 28th Street North. The FHP said Cornwell failed to yield or stop and collided with the left side of the car. Cornwell died at the scene.
Gragg and his passenger, Stephanie Dawn Haggett, 28, of Largo, suffered minor injuries. No charges will be filed.
