LANTANA, FL : Lantana woman seriously injured in wreck involving stolen car on Thursday, 12th September 2019

A 33-year-old Lantana woman was seriously injured Thursday morning when a stolen truck slammed into the car she was driving not far from her home, Palm Beach County sheriff’s investigators say.

Kaitlyn Daly had to be cut out of the 2010 Chevrolet Equinox she was driving at about 6 that morning near West Ocean Avenue and Broadway.

The driver of the stolen 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 ran after the wreck and has not been identified, according to sheriff’s records.

Deputies say Daly was heading south on Broadway when the westbound pickup hit the driver’s side of the Equinox.
