Sequim , WA : 28- Years old Homeless man was Struck and killed near Dungeness River bridge on Tuesday night , January 13th 2015
The Washington State Patrol says the pedestrian struck and killed Tuesday night on the Highway 101 Dungeness River bridge near Sequim (skwim) was a homeless man.
Trooper Russ Winger says he apparently had been living in the area.
He's identified as 28-year-old James C. Rogers of Port Angeles.
The patrol says he was standing in the westbound lane of the bridge about 7 p.m. when he was hit by a pickup truck.
The patrol says the driver was not impaired. He stopped, cooperated with investigators and said he did not see the man in the dark.
