AUBURN, CA : California Highway Patrol officer injured in Auburn crash on Wednesday, 18th September 2024

A California Highway Patrol motor officer was hurt in a crash in Auburn Wednesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash happened sometime after 2 p.m. at Nevada Street and Placer Street while the officer was taking the off-ramp from Interstate 80. CHP Captain Andrew McCulloch said the officer was hit by a Dodge Ram pickup truck and ejected from his motorcycle.
