A Beloit man was killed in a two-vehicle head-on collision in Rock County Sunday afternoon.

An Oldsmobile Bravado driven by George Dudley Davis, 26, was traveling west on Highway 59 near Edgerton just before 1 p.m. when it struck an eastbound Dodge Caravan driven by Megan E. Haney, 38, of Milton, according to the Rock County Sheriff's Department.

Both Davis and Haney were pinned in their vehicles. Davis was pronounced dead at the scene, and Haney was in critical condition at UW Hospital in Madison, the Sheriff's Department said. A passenger in Davis' vehicle, Paul M. Shamp, 26, of Janesville, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital in Janesville. All were wearing seat belts.
